Om Factory Yoga Center is an urban oasis for transformational wellness,
located in the heart of the garment district in New York City. They offer
yoga, AcroYoga, aerial yoga, meditation, workshops and amazing
retreats!
The instructor, Shelley, is great she situated the class for everyone
to come into a cocoon enveloped in the duvet (favorite part of the
class). And then it begins! She walked us through each pose.
The space is neat and clean. In case you're a bit musty from all the
swinging, the changing areas have 2 private, immaculate bathrooms with a
shower-stalls. At Om Factory, class schedules change every month &
it's ideal to register (and pre-pay) online. Aside from aerial yoga,
there's yoga Fight Club, prenatal yoga, and many more options.
Additionally, the studio hosts events and workshops on a regular basis.
Class started with some sort of meditation and each instructor has
her/his own way of leading you through class. The main focus is the
repetition of yoga postures and you are free to make adjustments based
on level.
